When deciding on your wedding colors, it's important to not get carried away. My advice to brides is to keep the "big" pieces more neutral {ie wedding party attire} and bring in color through various accents. One of the easiest ways to do this is through your floral arrangements.
When I saw a picture of this flower arrangement the other day, I immediately smiled. What a fun color palette this would be for a middle-of-the-summer, outdoor wedding. Bringing these bright hues throughout centerpieces, boutonnières {etc} would add just the right amount of pop to compliment a more neutral wedding without being overbearing.
I couldn't agree more! Bringing in pops of color in the smaller elements and keeping the larger elements neutral... that's my philosophy for design, too! :)
